Introduction to Morning Sadhana
Sadhana, a Sanskrit term meaning “spiritual practice,” forms the cornerstone of many ancient traditions, including Kundalini yoga. In our Morning Sadhana workshop, we invite you to embark on a transformative journey that combines the powerful elements of Kundalini yoga, breathwork, and yoga Nidra.
The Power of Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini yoga is often referred to as the “yoga of awareness,” focusing on the awakening of dormant energy within the body known as Kundalini. Through a dynamic blend of postures, breathwork, and chanting, Kundalini yoga aims to clear energetic blockages, expand consciousness, and cultivate inner peace.
In our workshop, you’ll be guided through a series of Kundalini kriyas—specific sequences of exercises designed to stimulate the energy centers of the body, release tension, and promote balance. Whether you’re new to Kundalini or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll discover the transformative power of these ancient techniques.
Breathwork and Pranayama
Central to the practice of Kundalini yoga is the art of pranayama, or breath control. Through various breathing techniques, you’ll learn to harness the vital life force energy (prana) within your body, promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
During our workshop, you’ll explore different pranayama practices to awaken your senses, calm the mind, and invigorate the spirit. From deep belly breathing to alternate nostril breathing, you’ll experience the profound effects of conscious breathing on your entire being.
Journey into Yoga Nidra
As the workshop progresses, we’ll transition into the soothing practice of yoga Nidra—a guided meditation technique often referred to as “yogic sleep.” In this state of deep relaxation, you’ll experience profound healing on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.
Through yoga Nidra, you’ll journey into the realm of the subconscious mind, where deep-seated patterns and beliefs reside. By releasing tension and surrendering to the present moment, you’ll create space for inner transformation and self-discovery.
What to Expect
Our Morning Yoga Sadhana workshop is open to practitioners of all levels, from beginners to experienced yogis.
