In honour of world meditation day please join us for a calming breath and meditation immersion!!

 

A 2-hour workshop to help you nurture yourself mindfully, get the chance to pause, take a breath and clear your mind with the help of calming breathing techniques and guided meditations.
With practical tools, strategies, and exercises harnessing the benefits of mindfulness, meditation and breath coaching.

Science is recognising that proper breathing is essential for health.

Targeted breathing exercises can actually boost our immunity and improve our overall health. Learning how to breathe is one factor that reduces our susceptibility to getting sick.
Breathing improves circulation and blood flow to the brain, and activates our parasympathetic nervous system, which means that our brain gets the message to relax.

This workshop will help you :

  • Instill a deep sense of calmness and peace of mind.
  • slow down and enjoy life
  • become more mindful of our thoughts, when we learn how our minds work, we may learn what causes certain behaviors from us.
  • Become more focused and increase concentration
  • Instead of letting your emotions take control and dictate your behavior, you begin to pause and choose how you will respond.
  • bounce back and become more resilient

Benefits of the techniques taught in this program:

  • Breathing improves circulation and blood flow to the brain, and activates our parasympathetic nervous system, which means that our brain gets the message to relax.
  • Reduced inflammation associated with stroke, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and other serious diseases.
  • Improved sleep and digestion
  • When we take deep breaths, the upward and downward movement of the diaphragm helps remove the toxins from the body promoting better blood flow.
  • Reduce feelings of overwhelm and stress (Long deep breathing reverses this process, allowing your body (and mind) to become calmer.)
  • When we train to be less in our head and more aware of the present moment, we’re better able to distance ourselves from negative thoughts and emotions, and feel better in the moment.

About Stel:

Stel is a yoga teacher, breath coach, emotional eating recovery specialist and energy healer. Originally from South Africa, Stel has called Melbourne her home and is a passionate yoga teacher in the Eastern Suburbs . Stel loves outdoor adventures , from kayaking to hiking, beach days and mountain biking.
A s a holistic health coach, Stel infuses yoga, mindfulness and energy medicine into her consultations with clients. Passionate about holistic health, she sees yoga as a therapy for the mind and soul considering herself fortunate to facilitate yoga experiences. Stel's sessions encourage clients to dive into the self-transformation that health practices like positive mindset, yoga and meditation can provide.

The workshop includes

  • 2 hour workshop with an experienced mindfulness teacher and breath coach
  • Access to a free meditation and breathwork app
  • Downloadable guided breathwork meditations for you to keep
  • A guidebook to help you keep the practice going between sessions
  • VIP Option includes 2 private 1-2-1 breath coaching sessions.

Here are some things to consider before the session:

  • Wear comfortable clothing for breathwork; pants that are tight around the waist are not suitable
  • Bring a sleeping mask if you would like to cover your eyes
  • Only eat a light meal beforehand and limit caffeine consumption on the day
  • Find a calm space where you won’t be disturbed

 

Cancellation/Refund Policy

A cancellation received in writing up to 2 weeks from the workshop date will result in a loss of 50% of the ticket price. Any cancellation less than 2 weeks out from the workshop will result in a total loss of funds. We reserve the right to cancel the workshop if it does not meet the workshop minimum. All cancellations must be made to Stel Coombe-Heath in writing hello@kindredwarrior.com.au
