WHAT IS IT?

This course will give you the tools to begin syncing your yoga practice with the cycles of the moon. In our nature, we have circalunar rhythms that are tied into the lunar cycles. These rhythms have an effect on sleep patterns, hormonal fluctuations and menstrual regularity in women. Discover how easy it is to implement the right activities/nutrition and lifestyle ways to optimise your health and wellbeing. Immerse yourself in this teaching and feel the benefits from the inside out….then, rinse and repeat!

WHAT WE DO:

✨ Asanas (yoga poses)

✨ Breath work/Pranayama

✨ Integrative lifestyle tips (nutrition/self-care)

✨ Self-massage techniques of breasts, womb and the special ‘trinity connection

✨ Every week, we will cover one phase of the menstrual cycle. You will walk away with education and an experiential practice:

🌙 Hormonal knowledge and identifying any areas of concern

🌙 How to balance imbalances

🌙 Yoga practice is dedicated to the cycle (follicular/ovulation/luteal/menses)

🌙 Massages to help with lymphatic flow, stagnation and improving vitality

🌙 Whole foods to eat – You will be served food, intended to get you to experience a healthy selection of what is possible

🌙 Cooked food by me as a sample of what to eat.

WHY I TEACH THIS:

Doing/eating and living life the same way day in/day out…week in/week out may affect our overall health. This is why we explore our intuition and understanding of these cycles in order to harmoniously move forward with ease, embracing the ebbs and flows of our mother moon. Just like we eat, move and live differently between winter and summer.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR

​Helen Zee creates and holds space for transitions to occur. She helps women, men and couples to connect deeply through pathways that create satisfying loving relationships with self and others. Helen is passionate about creating a future world of conscious relationships and parenting, by firstly exploring our intimacy and connection of our own nature of self. As a Yoga Teacher, Womens Health Practitioner including fertility, womens cycles of life and exploration of intimacy, she helps open the pathway to higher expression of our truest nature. Helen challenges the status quo of “stuckness and stagnation” to create newness and flow.
